What is a Silent Invitation? A silent invitation is a way to invite your retailers to participate in a digital marketing campaign on Promoboxx without actually sending them an email. When a retailer is silently invited to a campaign, we skip the email notification and the retailer will see the campaign available on their dashboard when they next login.
When Would I Send a Silent Invitation?
- Before your program launches. We recommend silently inviting your retailers to the campaigns you plan to launch the program with. Essentially, this is making the campaign available to everyone without having to accept the invitation to participate.
- If you're launching multiple campaigns in a short time frame, you may not want to overwhelm your retailers with a ton of emails. You can silent invite them to campaigns.
- If a new dealer joins, but open enrollment wasn't enabled on the campaign, you'll want to silently invite the retailer to the available campaigns so they aren't inundated with campaign notification emails.
Follow these steps to invite your retailers without sending them an actual email:
1. Select Recipients
Select which retailers you are inviting to the campaign. You have the option to send to 'all' or to 'specific recipients' (e.g. specific filter(s) or collection(s), or individual email retailers
2. Set Automation
Next, select which types of Automation you would like to run for your retailers: Share on Facebook or Post to Twitter. This is optional.
(note* for more help with scheduling automation check out this article: Scheduling Automation on Campaigns*)
3. Disable the Email
On the email editor page, go to the button in the upper right-hand corner with the text "Simple Mode". Click and a drop-down menu will appear, and click "Disable Email".
Once you click "Disable Email" you should see a message that says "you have chosen NOT to send an email."
4. Review & Send Your Campaign to Retailers!
Last but not least, double check to see if all information is correct. Your review should look something like this:
