The Campaign Description is a brief introduction that helps retailers understand what a campaign offers and why they should participate. This is a great opportunity to capture retailers’ attention and encourage them to engage with the content.
Below is how the retailers see the Campaign Description after opening a campaign -
Before writing your description, identify the campaign’s main objective. For example, are you promoting a new product, increasing brand awareness, supporting an event, or highlighting a special offer?
Keep the description clear and concise. As a best practice, consider the following:
- Clearly state the intent for your campaign and any helpful tips for your retailers to get the most out of each share (such as, when to post, reminders to revisit post for replies to comments, customizing copy for store-specific messaging, tagging their friends).
- Keep it 2-3 sentences at max. Ex. "Share this new campaign to educate your customers with these inspiring tips."
- Include the campaign description in the invitation and reminder emails.
Example: Use this campaign to tell your customers about [DESCRIPTION]. Promoting this campaign will give you access to [Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc.] that you can use in your marketing efforts. Remember, this content is provided to you free of charge, sponsored 100% by [BRAND].
After the description, you can also include some actions to take if the Retailer has not set up a Promoboxx account yet.
