Content Discovery on Promoboxx allows retailers to customize and share any content that has been promoted on your brand’s national Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube content. With Content Discovery, retailers can browse through dozens of extra brand-approved posts and choose exactly what speaks to their store’s personal brand. Content Discovery is automatically updated every 24 hours on the platform, so new content is available just as frequently as it's posted.
To Use & Customize Content Discovery…
1. Login to your Promoboxx Dashboard
2. Click on Settings in the left-hand side of your dashboard and then select "Brand Profile"
3. Enter your national social pages (URL's) for Facebook, Twitter, and/or YouTube. Add as many as you would like!
4. Authorize Facebook. In order to pull in your national Facebook content in for Content Discovery, you'll need to grant permission to Promoboxx in Facebook Business Manager (Please note you must be an Admin on your business' Facebook Business Manager account as well as the Facebook page):
- Go to business.facebook.com
- Select "Business Settings"
- Select "Pages" (shown as 1 in the below image)
- Select your brand's page from the list of available pages. (shown as 2 in the below image)
- Click "Assign Partners" (shown as 3 in the below image)
- Choose "Business ID"
- Enter the Promoboxx Facebook Business ID: 780857555287180
- Click "Next" and then "Done"
5. Once you have enabled these permissions, please wait 24 hours. After 24 hours have passed, you may navigate to your Content Discovery page on your account (this can be found by going to Settings > Content Discovery).
6. Click on "Update content discovery." If you see new posts filter in, you're all set. If no new posts filter in, please contact our team.
A note about this permission: View Page Performance gives Promoboxx the ability to view data on how the page is performing. Promoboxx will only use the insights to understand what content has been posted recently in order to share that content automatically with your retailers as Content Discovery share options.
Have some content you don't want available to your retailers? In the " Content Discovery" tab, you can enable/disable specific shares at any time. Just check/uncheck the appropriate share box to make any updates.
How Content Discovery Appears for Retailers...
Retailers will see this content appear on their dashboard as "Other Recommended Content" below brand campaigns. At the top left of each share, is an icon indicating what channel it originated. Once retailers select "Preview and Share" they will have the option to repurpose the share on new channels (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Downloadables) and customize the copy.
