With this new feature, retailers will have the ability to customize the destination of their link share when sharing a post. Consumers will have a more seamless shopping experience by being directed to a page that is most relevant to the post they clicked (e.g. e-commerce page or a dedicated brand section of retailer website), increasing their likelihood to convert to a purchase of your brand’s products. Note: this toggle is currently only available on Dealer Website shares. Follow the steps below to learn more.
- Log in to Promoboxx
- Navigate to the Campaigns tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard and then click "Create New Campaign" in the top right-hand corner.
- Upload your campaign assets, select Dealer Website as the link type (note: the link type must be Dealer Website), and then click "Create Shares and Continue".
- In the formatting section of the Campaign Builder, you will have the ability to toggle the like editor on or off. Please note: if the share is updated to not allow editing after retailers have already edited their links and shared, the links will revert to default rules. We do not recommend changing this setting after the campaign has gone live.
- Once you finalize the shares and set the campaign live, retailers will be able to customize the destination of their link share when sharing a post, underneath the brand suggested copy, as below.

If a retailer chooses not to change the link destination, the share will link to the retailer's website instead. In the case that the retailer does not have a website listed, the share will link to the fallback link.
