Overview
This article will assist you in building a consumer-facing Landing Page on our new Landing Page Designer. If you are still using our old designer, see this article. If you'd like to be enabled for new Landing Pages, reach out to your Client Success Manager today!
Getting Started
Upload your campaign content and create your shares as you normally do. Anything you upload will be available for selection right within the Landing Page designer, but you can always upload more later.
When choosing the share destination Link Type, you'll see an option for Landing Page. Don't worry -- you'll be able to change the destination for each share individually after you've bulk created your shares.
Going forward, all campaigns will be equipped with Landing Pages, but it's up to you if you want to build one and point shares there.
Once you're finished adding share Title, Description, and Message for the channels you want, create your shares. On the next page you'll be able to configure each, and from there, move on to the Landing Pages page.
Choosing a Template
From the Landing Pages page, you'll be able to launch the designer by either starting with a pre-existing template or cloning an existing Landing Page campaign:
We'll get your page started with one of your share images and your share copy, which can be edited in the designer.
Once you have published your page in designer, this page will show a live preview of your page, co-branded with a random retailer.
When you're ready to get started, click Launch Designer.
Using the Designer
Depending on which template you chose, you'll be started off with a partially build page containing a set of "widgets". In the example below, the page has the Image, Text, and Form widgets:
Header and Footer
The Header and Footer widgets are on every landing page by default and are locked at the top and bottom, respectively. These sections bring the brand and retailer co-branded element to Landing Pages.
- In the header, your retailer's logo and name will display.
- In the footer, we'll display your retailer's locations on a map, their address, contact information, any social pages they have, as well as a link to directions via Google.
Customizable Widgets
Here is a list of all currently available widgets and what they do:
-
Text: Input and format rich text.
- Tip: If you'd like to drop in some custom HTML into a widget, look for the code view option in the text editor. It looks like this: </>.
- Image: Choose an image from your campaign assets or upload from a file. From there, edit size, alt-text, or Add a Caption (this will transform it to the Image + Text widget).
- Video: Choose a video from your campaign assets or upload from a file or external link. From there, toggle Autoplay and/or Add a Caption (this will transform it to the Video + Text widget).
- Hero: Choose an image from your campaign assets or upload from a file. From there, you can optionally set darkening and text overlay, and add a button.
- Button: Add a call-to-action (CTA) to your page. From there, choose the destination (Retailer Website, Retailer Phone, Directions, File Download, or Custom URL), set a fallback URL if necessary, and customize button text, font, and colors.
- Form: Create a lead generation form equipped with social auto-fill. First Name, Last Name, and Email are enabled by default, and additional custom fields can be added. Other customizations include fonts, colors, button text and colors, and a success message when a user submits the form.
- Divider: Insert space between widgets with the Divider. You can set to gradient, dotted, or solid. If you don't want a visible line, just set the color to match your background.
- Terms: Same as the text widget, but pre-formatted with italicized smaller text.
Add, Reorder, Edit or Delete Widgets
Adding, reordering, editing, and deleting widgets is easy!
- To add, simply click and drag a widget tile on the right and drop it into the place you want in the page.
- To reorder, hover over the widget content in the page, click and hold any part of it, and drag to where you want.
- To edit any widget, click on the widget content you wish to edit and a panel will slide in on the right-nav with all of the controls specific to that widget.
- To delete, hover over any widget content in the page, and look for the trash icon in the top bar.
Publishing
Any changes you make will be autosaved, however, you will need to click Publish to update the most current version. Don't worry if your campaign isn't live yet, you can come back and make edits as much as you wish.
Note: If you make changes to your page after your campaign is live, you will need to publish, which will instantly update the live page.
The Preview page will always show your last published version, so make sure to publish before previewing your latest changes.
The Landing Pages page back in campaign builder will let you know your last publish date/time, and whether or not you have unpublished changes.
Feedback
Your feedback is critical to the continuous improvement of our product offerings. If you'd like to see something added, improved, or want to offer any general comments, look for the "Got feedback?" at the bottom right of the page.
Happy building!
