What’s New
The Open/Dynamic Invitation feature allows you to select one filter or collection of retailers to invite on the Campaign Details page in Campaign Builder. Each night, retailers who are newly added to that filter or collection will automatically be invited to that campaign.
Previously, a brand campaign could either:
- Have open enrollment ON, allowing any newly registered retailer to access that campaign.
- Have open enrollment OFF, requiring a deliberate manual invite to a specific group (via a filter, collection, etc.).
Now with Open Invitation, brands can target specific retailer groups without turning on open enrollment and without knowing all retailer details upfront.
When To Use
Use Open Invitations when:
- You want to target a specific group (e.g., by product line, language, or region).
- You don’t yet have complete data to define that group at the time of campaign creation.
For example, maybe you want to run a campaign only for French-speaking retailers, but you don't know which retailers speak French yet.
- You can add a Custom Enrollment Question to ask retailers if they speak French or not.
- You create a French campaign for French-speaking retailers.
- Open enrollment is turned OFF for this campaign to avoid non-French-speaking retailers gaining access to something irrelevant.
- Set “French” as the Open Invitation Group, using a filter/collection you would have created based on your Custom Enrollment Question about speaking French or not.
- When a retailer signs up and selects that they DO speak French, they’ll receive an overnight invite to any campaign where the "French" collection or filter was targeted.
How To Use
- Navigate to the Campaign Details page for a new or active campaign.
- Click the new “Open Invitation Group” dropdown.
- You’ll see two sections: Collections and Filters, sorted alphabetically.
- Select one relevant filter or collection.
- Proceed with campaign invites as usual (this feature complements, not replaces, traditional invitations).
Please Note
- Only one filter or collection can be selected per campaign.
- If a filter or collection is deleted, the field will show as empty — but any previously invited retailers will retain access.
- If a retailer is removed from the selected filter or collection, they’ll still retain access if they were already invited.
