The Promoboxx Retail Marketing Calendar allows brands to connect with retailers and make them an integral part of their marketing plan. Utilized correctly, brands can keep track of all their marketing needs in one place!
Brand users have the ability to create both internal brand facing events, as well as external retailer facing events. Listed below are some of our best practices on how to take advantage of the Retail Marketing Calendar, and what events you should be creating.
Automation (Brand & Retailer)
Coincidentally, Automation is automatically added to your brand calendar, as soon as it's scheduled* in a campaign. Keeping track of your automation schedule is important, and being able to view it all at once helps to eliminate automation overload for your retailers. Also, retailers love to see when they have new posts scheduled. These events will appear in purple.
*It is important to note, scheduled automations will only appear once a campaign is live.
Campaign Launches (Brand)
Start" and "End" dates are also added to the brand calendar automatically. Once dates are selected in a campaign, these events will appear on the calendar in navy. See that a campaign is ending soon and you have no new content scheduled? This is a great way to keep your calendar full.
National Holidays (Brand & Retailer)
Adding National Holidays to your brand calendar allows internal users to plan ahead for upcoming campaign launches. For example, see that Father's Day is coming up in 3 weeks? Now you have plenty of time to build and schedule a new campaign for your retailers to share. You can also add National Holidays to your retailer's calendars to allow time to plan ahead with scheduling out their social shares, and knowing when to staff their stores for “big traffic” promotions.
Sales Rep Visits (Brand & Retailer)
By adding Sales Rep Visits to the marketing calendar, you can ensure sales reps are aligning with their retailers. These visits educate retailers and support their digital marketing efforts.
Industry Trade Show Events (Brand & Retailer)
Know your brand is attending an Industry Trade Show this month? Alert your retailers with a calendar event. Even better, send the event to a group of retailers you know are located close by with a filter.
Buy in Period (Brand & Retailer)
Highlight the beginning or end of specific product buy-in periods to prepare your retailers ahead of time!
Campaign Reminders (Brand)
Adding Campaign Reminder events to your brand calendar will help to keep track of how many email communications are being sent daily. Whether it's an auto reminder or a manual reminder, the calendar will ensure you've updated your retailers
Webinars (Brand & Retailer)
Is your team attending a Promoboxx Webinar this month to learn more about the platform? Add it to your calendar to ensure internal users are on board! If you would like a Promoboxx Webinar set up for your Sales Reps or Retailers, please notify your CSM. Once scheduled, add an event to your retailer's calendars to remind them when to attend.
